Before we dive into your books, we start by learning your story through the Advanced Discovery Questionnaire. This in-depth questionnaire helps us understand how your business runs, what’s working, what’s not, and what kind of support you’re looking for. It takes about 30–40 minutes to complete and sets the stage for everything that follows—so we can make sure we’re building the right plan for your needs.
Once you’ve submitted your questionnaire, you’ll have your one-on-one call with someone from our team. This is your time to talk through your answers, ask questions, and get to know how we work. It’s our chance to get to know you—your goals, challenges, and whether we’re the right team to support you. There’s no pressure and no payment required. Just a friendly conversation to explore if we’re a good fit, make sure your needs align with what we offer, and decide on next steps. If everything feels right, we’ll move forward with a File Review and put together a personalized plan for your bookkeeping support.
Every client relationship starts with a required, paid File Review—because we believe in doing things right from the start. During this review, we take a detailed look under the hood of your existing QuickBooks® file (or other accounting system) to assess its current condition. We’re checking for accuracy, completeness, and anything that might impact your monthly bookkeeping. Whether your file is pristine or... let’s just say “well-loved,” this review helps us build a clear plan tailored to your needs. The File Review ensures we’re recommending only what you need—no bloated packages, no generic advice. Just thoughtful, honest guidance based on your unique file and business operations.
After your File Review, you’ll receive a custom proposal outlining your monthly bookkeeping fee, any clean-up or optimization work needed, and your go-forward plan. Once you're fully onboarded, you’ll be assigned a Lead Bookkeeper and set up on a standard recurring schedule—so you know exactly what to expect and when to expect it. Our core service is monthly bookkeeping, but if your business requires more frequent updates, we’ve got you covered. We can also layer in additional services like payroll processing, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), or cash flow management to support your specific needs and give you more control over your financial picture. After your books are closed each period, you’ll receive accurate, easy-to-read financial reports that actually help you understand what’s going on in your business.
